idk how much you want to change from the 4chan default setup but I think it would be funny if instead of "anonymous" you picked something like "HEYAHOYA" just for the impression that we already have injokes

i want to keep it very similar to 4chan, most of the odd spam like
>HEYA HOYA
>CAW CAW CAW
>moka
is me just testing if changes work, like recently finding that the backend logic was sometimes thinking this board was text-only, hence the choose file button missing, or that VPNs are getting filtered into hCaptcha purgatory and have to solve them repeatedly forever (which is funny)
injokes are for users to create, not for me to force into this at an infrastructure/backend level

multiple colortexting is great though imo, it makes formatting more fun. There's also ^ and some others on the streety I think swedishwin has like 6 or 7, stuff like ~ for grey and [ and ] acting as like yellow or blue or something idr, I like having them.

well, my usual thing then is to drive it to a logical extreme:
why restrict the colors and make mostly arbitrary and arcane formatting rules, like >, or <, or ^, etc, when instead we could let the user generate any arbitrary color with what might be essentially a very tiny and simple programming language?
(also, each arcane rule limits what can be posted normally a bit)
so we might have the "standard" > for greentext, then >0a1b2c>
or something arbitrary might be usable so that a user can specify any color with a 6-char hex string (that color 0a1b2c being an example, or >ffffff> being white text, >789922> being the standard greentext, etc.)

Impressive. Very nice

Like how forums would let you use [color:green][/color] (not accurate to a specific forum but you get it)? Yeah, sounds fun. I like it.
